First Life Science Zurich meeting on ‚Prion Diseases’

Life Science Zurich cordially invites you to the first LSZ-meeting held in Zurich on November 22 and 23, 2007. This scientific meeting on ‚Prion Diseases’ will be held in honor of Professor Charles Weissmann’s outstanding contribution to prion research in Zurich.

The program ranges from the molecular and cellular aspects to clinical and diagnostic features of prion diseases but also focuses on animal models. Charles Weissmann will give a keynote lecture on Thursday evening and Adriano Aguzzi will open the meeting with an overview of the history of prion research in Zurich. A pdf file of the program can be downloaded. Attendance of the meeting is free. Due to a limited number of participants, registration for the meeting is, however, obligatory.
